Our administrative costs are minimal.

We do not have any paid employees. We do not have a shelter. We do not have an office. We do not send out solicitation mailings, greeting cards, calendars, or address labels. All we have is this web site and a number of dedicated volunteers working out of their homes.

Donated funds are used primarily for vetting our rescued Dalmatians.

In most cases, the adoption fee collected does not cover the full expense of vetting the dog. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on all recommended vaccines, heartworm negative, and on monthly heartworm preventative. Some dogs require even more expensive treatment and/or medications. You can help by paying for a spay or neuter surgery, a rabies vaccination, or whatever you can afford.

You might also like to sponsor one of our "Special Needs" Dalmatians.

We occasionally take in dogs that receive treatment for medical problems over and above the usual veterinary exams and vaccines that all of our dogs receive. Your donations could help a dog with a chronic illness, a disability that makes adoption impractical, or a senior dog with only a short time remaining to live out their life with the foster family that opened their home and hearts to the dog. These animals were abandoned before, but CCDAL will not abandon them a second time.
