My name is Gracie and I am looking for someone to love me and give me a permanent home. Even though I am about 11 years old and am also deaf, I am in excellent health. I am literate in American Sign Language and have some basic obedience training. My vet records are up to date, and I am heartworm negative and on the preventative. If someone nice would adopt me I would do anything to please.

I am a very neat girl, and have been house-trained and crate-trained for years. I respect people’s things and do not chew up their belongings. I get along fine with other dogs and cats and I love to go on walks. I miss my father who had to give me up because he was moving and could not take me along. It is so lonely not belonging with someone or a family that I can share my affection and loyalty with on a daily basis. Everyday I wake up wishing this would be the special day that someone visits me at Nancy’s kennel and then decides they cannot live without me. Every night I go to bed and say a prayer that my special home will come true.
