Hello, I am Harry, an approximately seven year old, neutered male Dalmatian with handsome big brown eyes and a sweet personality. I was rescued from a neglectful situation in southern Virginia, but I am just a wonderful laid back guy in spite of that! I am very gentle, loving and will put my head in your lap and wag my tail for pats and lots of attention. I walk like a gentleman on a leash, have shared a previous home with three cats and will not sleep on the bed with you. I prefer to have my dog bed in your room or next to your bed.

I really like to eat my breakfast and dinner and am always hoping someone will slip in a mid-day snack. Despite liking food, I do not steal from you or the table. It was recently discovered, to everyone's surprise, that I have some buckshot in my back legs and back. I run in the yard and have no problem with steps and can get down and up without any problems so this is an old injury that we do not know how it happened but it is now a permanent part of me. I also love to sleep on the dog bed on the front porch on nice days.

I am housebroken but during the transition to my foster family's home, I had a few pee-pee accidents. I was trying so hard to be so good, but had to learn the routine of the house and now I am fine. I currently reside with my foster family which consists of a foster mommy, foster daddy, a very energetic six year old boy, and 5 Dalmatians/Dalmatian Mixes (Rupert and Ruble who are on the CCDAL web page and my foster family's three rescue Dalmatians).
