MINK (Courtesy Posting)
Mink is not a pure-bred Dalmatian, but she was
born to a Dalmatian in rescue and will be placed
using the same forms and procedures that we
used for her mother. We are not sure of
the father's breed, but whatever her parentage, Mink is cute and
loving and very well socialized. Because of her
potential to grow rather large and her need for
obedience training, Mink is not suitable for families
with very young children...and she barks at cats.
Mink has been wormed and received all of her puppy
vaccines. She has started monthly Interceptor
heartworm preventative as well as monthly applications
of Frontline Plus for ticks and fleas. She is learning
all about the joys of playing (and pooping!) outdoors.
Because her mother is deaf, we BAER tested her...she can hear
with both ears. She has been neutered and received her
first Rabies vaccine. She will not need additional
vaccinations until
July 4, 2005, but should continue the
Interceptor and Frontline Plus year-round.
Mink will require a large, securely fenced yard in
order to get enough exercise to tire her out. If you
are interested, please email
Jackie Threatte at jackie.threatte@erols.com or call her
at 301-434-1086 for more information or to request an application
form.
