QUEEN
Queen Victoria is a 2-3 year old female, spayed, up
to date on her shots, and heartworm negative. She
was pulled from the shelter where she had been left by
her family who didn't know how to work with her. She
is 100% deaf and has begun learning sign language, she
has already learned "no," "come," "outside," "out" (to
leave the room), and is working on "sit" and "down."
Queen is very intelligent and is learning very quickly.
She is extremely affectionate and will do anything for
a belly rub.
Queen is good with children, cats and other
dogs. She does need to adjust around other dogs and it
takes her about a week to figure out where she stands
in the family, but once that is determined and she is
comfortable that she will not be dumped somewhere, she
settles right in. She is 100% crate trained and house
trained. She has impeccable house manners. She barks
to go out, to be let out of her crate, and to tell you
she wants attention. Nothing excessive, just enough to
let you know she is looking for her person. She will
find you in the house to ensure you are still there and
then go back to her bed to lay down. She does not get
on furniture and is not destructive at all.
Queen is overweight and her foster Mom has her on a
diet. We are working on getting her to run with her
foster brother and sisters to exercise off her excess
30+ pounds. If you have a securely fenced yard for our
Queen Victoria to use as a fitness club, you might be
the family for her.
