Sable is not a pure-bred Dalmatian, but he was born to a Dalmatian in rescue and will be placed using the same forms and procedures that we used for his mother. We are not sure of the father's breed, but whatever his parentage, Sable is cute and loving and very well socialized. Because of his potentially large size and his need for obedience training, Sable is not appropriate for families with very young children.

Sable has been wormed and received all of his puppy vaccines. He has started monthly Interceptor heartworm preventative as well as monthly applications of Frontline Plus for ticks and fleas. He is learning all about the joys of playing (and pooping!) outdoors. Because his mother is deaf, we BAER tested him...he can hear with both ears. He has been neutered and received his first Rabies vaccine. He will not need additional vaccinations until July 4, 2005, but should continue the Interceptor and Frontline Plus year-round.
