Hi everyone! My name is ZORRO and I do look like that famous fellow who saved so many poor people. Now, I too need to be saved. My mom had to take me to the shelter because the homeowners association where I used to live decided that they would not allow large dogs to live there anymore. I am heartbroken because I loved the other dogs in the neighborhood and all the people. Why they had to do this to me now has left me confused and sad.

I am about 6 years old, neutered, UTD on my shots, HW negative, house-trained, and crate-trained. I also am trained on an electric fence and know basic obedience. Although I am a big guy I am extremely loving, affectionate, and get along with other dogs and all kinds of people and children. I keep my bed neat and would not dream of chewing up furniture or things that are important in a home.

Right now there are no foster homes open and so I am having to be boarded in Culpeper, VA.. The boarding staff thinks I am wonderful and they are hoping and praying that someone will have a big heart and decide they cannot live without me. Even though this kennel is like a doggie camp, it still is not the same as having a home and family that you know will always be there to love you. I realize that many people only want a puppy but sometimes an elegant gentleman like myself will fit much better for your lifestyle and environment because I come with manners and maturity.
